A 76 year old woman struck by a vehicle in one part of Lackawanna County has died. It happened at the parking lot of a gas station on Northern Boulevard in South Abington Township. According to police the woman from Clarks Summit, was walking out of the Sheetz when a driver pulling away from a pump did not see her and struck her. No charges have been filed against the driver and the investigation is ongoing.
