CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns saw three of their free agents put pen to paper on their contract Saturday.
Defensive end Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, tight end Jordan Akins and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst signed after coming to terms earlier this week the team announced.

Akins is the most recent addition as he is reunited with quarterback Deshaun Watson.
The two played together for three seasons in Houston where they connected on 90 passes for 1,046 yards with three touchdowns between 2018 and 2020.
Akins has started 26 of the 73 games he’s appeared in with the Texans where he has totaled 151 catches for 1,755 yards and eight touchdowns. He had 37 receptions for 495 yards and a career high five touchdowns in 2022.
In four years with the Rams and Texans, Okoronkwo combined to total 9.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, 24 QB hits, three forced fumbles and three pass breakups.
Last season in Houston Okoronkwo had five sacks which came in the final six games, 11 QB hits, nine tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a forced fumble.
Hurst missed the 2022 season after being placed on injured reserve August 1 with a torn biceps.
Hurst was originally selected by the Raiders in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft and has started 17 of the 42 games he has appeared in over four seasons where he has totaled 78 tackles – nine for loss, 8.0 sacks, 17 QB hits, seven pass breakups, an interception and a fumble recovery.
Cardinals free agent defensive end Trysten Hill is the lone player who has agreed to terms with the Browns yet to sign.
