The music world was remembering country music star Toby Keith yesterday as we learned of his passing at the age of 62 after battling stomach cancer for three years. His family put out a brief statement on social media and his website yesterday.
Toby Keith told fans back in June 2022 that he was dealing with stomach cancer. The singer made his last stage appearance at a sold-out Las Vegas show in December and received the Country Icon Award at the People’s Choice Country Awards in September.
