The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced plans for Michael Stanley Day, the citywide event honoring the Cleveland rocker who passed away earlier this month. Fans are invited to join Michael Stanley’s family, members of The Resonators, Cleveland City Council President Kevin Kelley, and the Rock Hall President & CEO Greg Harris for a special presentation and declaration of Michael Stanley Day on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. on the Rock Hall plaza. The event is free to the public and will also be streamed live on www.michaelstanley.com courtesy of the Rock Hall. The Rock Hall will play Stanley’s music throughout the day both inside the museum and from its Rock Boxes around town. Artifacts from Stanley’s career will also be on display in a new In Memoriam exhibit, including his handwritten lyrics, set lists and Stanley’s Jon Hill custom guitar.
