This Saturday November 13th from 10 am to 3pm, the Greater Cleveland RTA will be hosting a bus driver career day at the West Park Rapid Station.
Pre-registration for bus drivers and mechanics is encouraged by completing an application and assessment test online or visiting an Ohio Means Jobs location.
Application and assessment test can be completed on site and walk ins are welcome.
Here's what to expect:
Candidates will watch bus training instructors and driver trainees as they perform maneuvers on the CDL training track.
Candidate's will be given an on-the-spot interview before meeting district and main office management.
If successful, candidates will be presented an offer, pending the required drug screening, physical, and background check.
RTA will provide CDL training once hired, including training at Tri-C in preparation for a temporary CDL test and 12 week program.
