For some of the biggest names in the Heavy Metal and Rock genres, hitting the right notes throughout their massive collections of albums was just the beginning. As merchandise tables and online stores began to fill up with more than just t-shirts and hoodies, some of your favorite bands made a journey into craft beermaking and an entirely new realm of artistic expression.

Check out some of the blistering bands that have taken the step into making their own branded brews below -- and good luck in your quest to find them!
Metallica - 'Enter Night Pilsner'
The arrogant bastards over at Arrogant Consortia brought fans Metallica's 'Enter Night Pilsner' at 5.7% Alc/Vol., representing "the cataclysmic collision of two uncompromising supernatural forces. It's a crisp and refreshing Pilsner that, much like the band, transcends genres, shatters preconceptions and challenges convention."
Megadeth - 'À Tout Le Monde' and 'Saison 13'
Dave Mustaine of Megadeth would never forgive us if we didn't mention his two offerings of Belgian-style beer with Canadian brewers Unibroue.
Iron Maiden - The Trooper
Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson loves a good brew, so he made a metric ton of it. With U.K.-based Robinsons Brewery, his 'Trooper Series' features the Trooper Strong Bitter), Red 'N' Black Porter, 666 Strong Bitter, Hallowed Belgian Dubbel, Sun and Steel Pilsner, Light Brigade Golden Ale, Fear of the Dark Stout, Session IPA, and Day of the Dead Strong Bitter -- all with different Alc/Vol. He's also gone international with his Bodebrown Trooper Brasil IPA, and Nomad Brewing Co.'s Trooper Aussie XPA.
Deftones - 'Phantom Bride IPA'
California rockers Deftones have been partnering with Belching Beaver Brewery for years, offering limited edition White Pony, Ohms, and Beauty School releases to name a few. Their current 'Phantom Bride IPA' at 7.1% Alc/Vol is one of the brewery's best sellers.
Foo Fighters - 'Coors Almighty Light'
When they're not making movies and rocking stages, the Foo Fighters be crushin' cans. The band got together with Young Henrys for their 'Foo Town Lager' to celebrate the band's ninth studio album and "Concrete and Gold" tour in Australia in 2018 with a run of only 60,000 cans. Of course, there was also the Coors Light 'American Light Lager' 25th Anniversary Edition that was offered to celebrate the band's quarter of a century together. Now, celebrating the release of the feature film Studio 666, Coors and the Foos have another one -- Coors Almighty Light, developed specifically to ward off demons!
Kiss - 'Destroyer' Beer
We're all aware Detroit rockers Kiss love themselves some merchandise. Not only can you get all of your drinking accessories over at the Kiss Shop, you can also grab the band's branded rum, gin, and their officially licensed beer, 'Destroyer,' made by Swedish brewer Krönleins Bryggeri.
Pearl Jam - "Faithfull Ale' + 'MPS Pool Ale'
Seattle Grunge icons Pearl Jam offered up a fruit beer, called 'Faithfull Ale,' from the famous Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, Ten. The band also teamed up with Montana's KettleHouse Brewing Co. to release a limited-edition 5% American pale ale called MPS Pool Ale back in 2021. It's called a "Pool Ale" because a portion of the proceeds were donated to a charity called the Montana Pool Service (MPS) founded by bassist Jeff Ament as a non-profit that builds skateparks in rural and isolated parts of Montana.
Gwar - 'Oderus Ale'
While you can now get your hands on what alien rock lords Gwar call "the best whiskey on this s***ty planet," back in 2016 a special 'Oderus Ale' was created by Florida's Cigar City Brewing in honor of the band's 7th Annual Gwar-B-Q. Yes, it was supposed to be called an "Impaled Ale" but that amazing name was already taken numerous times.
