Elton’s cross-continental final tour, which kicked off in September 2018, is the first to make over $800 million, and it’s not even over yet. After already embarking on 278 shows with shows across arenas in North America, Europe, and Oceania, as well as stadiums in each continent. Elton has more shows planned starting March 23 that will run through July 2023, including a headlining spot at Glastonbury, which will be his final UK show of his last ever tour.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2023 and celebrate the greatest festival in the world!!” the legendary musician shared on Instagram, after being confirmed as the festival’s first headliner back in December.
