Metallica has revealed a ton of extra shows added to their M72 World Tour, with North American dates continuing into the summer of 2025 featuring Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills as support.

Metallica‘s record-breaking M72 World Tour is showing no signs of slowing down as the band just announced 21 new North American dates, bringing the festivities into 2025 with two-night runs in Nashville, Philly, Tampa, and more, as well as single-night stops in Virginia, Maryland, Atlanta, and Houston, among others.
In addition to their packed stadium sets, the M72 World Tour’s 2025 itinerary also includes two headlining festival appearances -- Sick New World on April 12 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, and their "No Repeat Weekend" combo on May 9 and 11 as the band assaults fans with two headlining sets at Sonic Temple at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH.
Along with these newly added U.S. and Canadian dates, Metallica plan on taking the M72 2025 party for a long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand. Further announcements are on the way. Take a look at their current 2025 list of dates below.
Tickets will be available to the general public starting on September 27 at 10AM local time. Pre-sale tickets will be available beginning on Tuesday, September 24 at 10AM local time through Thursday, September 26 at 10PM local time for Citi cardmembers and Verizon Access members (except for the Sick New World, Sonic Temple, or Toronto dates. Verizon presale will also not be available for the Nashville, Blacksburg, or Landover shows).

As always, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation. Established in 2017 as a way to give back to communities that have supported Metallica over the years, All Within My Hands has raised over $15 million – providing $8.2 million in grants to career and technical education programs including the ground-breaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its sixth year, over $3.6 million to combat food insecurity, more than $3.5 million to disaster relief efforts.
