The Cleveland Browns are officially in consideration when it comes to the team that JJ Watt will move to. And a while ago, I wrote that the Browns should consider trading for JJ Watt. It could mean giving up some draft picks, but now this football fantasy could become a reality. So, I have compiled a list of reasons why Watt should consider moving to Cleveland.
1. We are prepared for the snow. Being a lakefront city, we're used to snow. So when that fluffy white stuff comes falling from the sky, we are prepared with plow trucks, salt trucks, and friendly neighbors with shovels or snow blowers.
2. Dog friendly (maybe even dog crazy). There are so many great places to take your dog on an adventure here. First off, Lakewood is a wonderful place to raise your dogs. Plus we have the Metroparks all over the place to walk your dog. Every walk can be done in a new place. Look, Clevelanders love their dogs. And JJ Watt has dogs. So a city that loves dogs + a dog owner = happiness. I'm pretty sure I've got my math right there.
3. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Obviously this is an important part about Cleveland. The music. The looks. The legends. They're all at the Rock Hall, an iconic part of Cleveland.
4. The Browns are Super Bowl contenders. the Browns were only GAMES away from being in the Super Bowl. A feat NO ONE expected, not even the fans. With solid leadership and a pretty solid offense, the Browns went further than anyone expected this past season. Our defense still needs some work, and Mr. Watt, you could be a part of that change. You could be part of a team that brings a Super Bowl win to its city for the first time ever.
5. You wouldn't have to play with your brothers. I don't know what it's like to have siblings because I'm an only child, but I imagine that one minute you love them and the next minute you hate them, so why would you want to work with them? Plus, Pittsburgh can't really afford you anyway.
There are a lot of teams considering picking up Watt, which makes a lot of sense! He's a great player who would be an essential part of any team. And while my arguments for coming to Cleveland are strong, they aren't the only reasons he should consider making the move.
