As Drake shared via an Instagram story, the album's release date had to be pushed back because his trusty producer Noah ‘40’ Shebib producer tested positive for COVID-19.

“Our brother @ovo40 got Covid while mixing and mastering the crack so he’s resting up,” Drake wrote about the 21 Savage collab project. He also went on to say that the album would be delayed by just one week, writing, “NOVEMBER 4th is HER LOSS day we’ll see you soon.”
