Shockley: Mobile QBs have historically hurt UGA, Desmond Ridder could too

Earlier Tuesday Randy McMichael and Chris Goforth (in for Andy Bunker) were joined by former Georgia quarterback and current SEC Network analyst DJ Shockley, who talked about what the Cincinnati Bearcats will be bringing to the table against the Georgia Bulldogs in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl coming up this Friday January 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shockley was specifically asked about Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder.

“Over the years guys who are mobile, guys who can move, guys who can kind of extend plays have hurt Georgia, said Shockley. "This is a confident kid who has been playing for a while.”

Shockley went on to talk about Cincinnati’s defense and the multiple looks they have given opposing offenses throughout the season.
