The 24th annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire continues at the Lebanon Fairgrounds, 122 Mark Rd. “Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill” is on stage at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford through October 16th.  The time is 1959. The place is a seedy bar in Philadelphia. The audience is about to witness one of Billie Holiday’s last performances, given four months before her death. In Robertson’s Tony award-winning play, Holiday engages the audience with salty, often humorous reminiscences of her troubled life as a traveling performer in a segregated south. Who Doesn't love a great Flea Market?  Mansfield Marketplace Sunday Flea Market runs every Sunday 8am to 2pm through November 20th at the Mansfield Drive-In Theater, 228 Stafford Rd, Mansfield Center.  $2 per shopper and $2 per car for flea market parking.  Rain or shine.  Vendors and buyers alike are welcome to thrift, treasure hunt, and bargain!  There is a large indoor market as well as up to 300+ vendors outside all selling new and used items, including plants, produce, clothing, crafts, jewelry, tools, collectibles, toys and more.
