We will be serving birthday cake at noon, it's a Sweet Sixteen Cake decorated with purple roses in honor of our Princess Horse! A local chocolate shop custom made a 10 lb solid horse for raffle! It was made by Thorncrest Chocolates in Goshen. He has a white chocolate mane and tail and a dark chocolate saddle.

There is a meeting at the Avon library on Saturday morning, for people interested in creating a new community theater in town. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. in the library's community room, and will share concepts, solicit ideas and suggestions, and seek volunteers skilled in everything from nonprofits to theater production. All are welcome--even if you're just interested in seeing what this community-based nonprofit effort is all about.
