Here's some fun stuff to do....

Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end to summer – vacation.
One favorite tradition this weekend is the 110 th Annual Goshen Fair happening September 2-4 – one of the best and longest running fairs in the state. It is a major agricultural fair with livestock judging, draft horse and oxen pull. There is also a woodcutting competition, rides, exhibits and live entertainment. Dialed Action Motorcross -- BMX Bike stunts -- will perform Sunday and Monday. And returning to the fair, after 20 years, is the Pork Cook-off contest!!!!

Foodies and families will also enjoy the Lyman Orchards Corn Maze and Cider Donut Festival taking place Saturday and Sunday. From apple cider donut sundaes, pumpkin spice soft service ice cream, pumpkin spice
popcorn, kettle corn and steamed, buttery corn on the cob. They’ll have plenty of pick your own apples and pears.

There is also free yoga and a drumming circle over the weekend. And … what kid doesn’t like a horse-drawn hayride and face painting. On Friday, there is the “Brew Maze” – with adults enjoying local craft brews during the twilight event – sip, play and find your way through the corn maze.

And if music is more your thing, celebrate the unofficial end of summer at the I Love Music Festival on Saturday at the Simsbury Meadows Performance Arts Center – Featuring DJ K-Otic, DJ Famous, DJ Commish & more.
Festival goers will enjoy the sounds of R&B, HipHop, Afro Beats and more from the 60’s to the 2000’s – so music for all generations. Bring a picnic and they’ll provide the vibe, music and entertainment. There will be a full bar and some local vendors.
