(Vernon, Conn./WTIC) - Vernon Police are investigating a crash from Thursday that left two people riding on a motorcycle in critical condition.
Officers, along with fire and emergency personnel, were dispatched just after 7:15 p.m. to the area of Route 83 and Merline Road.
They say the motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Ryan Shaw collided with a Jeep Wrangler driven 18-year-old Toni Marchese.
Shaw is in critical but stable condition at St. Francis Hospital.
A passenger on the motorcycle, 26-year-old Brittany Cote, is also in critical but stable condition at Hartford Hospital.
Marchese was treated for minor injuries and is cooperating with investigators.
