(West Haven, Conn./WTIC) - There's been another arrest in connection with the burning of a dog in West Haven last month.
Police say 41-year-old Maurice Jackson is in custody.
He's charged with breach of peace, illegal dumping, and open burning.
The dog, an older Terrier, was found July 4th in a parking lot at Sandy Point.
On monday, police picked up who they believed to be the dog's owner, Latrice Moody of West Haven.
She is facing similar charges.
