(Milford, Conn./WTIC) - Milford Police are charging a city man with the strongarm robbery of a food delivery person last month.
Investigators say on February 18, 27-year-old Maurice Johnson approached the delivery person at Bridgeport Avenue and Loomis Street, putting a gun to the victim's neck.
The suspect, police say, made off with cash and the victim's cell phone.
On Wednesday, detectives executed a warrant for Johnson's arrest.
Upon attempting to serve the warrant, police say Johnson leaped from a second floor window but was quickly apprehended.
A ski mask, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, and a 30 round extended magazine were recovered, as was the stolen iPhone, police said.
Johnson faces charges of robbery, larceny, carrying a pistol without a permit, interfering and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $100,000
