Around 8:45 a.m., investigators say the crash occurred in the intersection of Middle Street and Mountain Road.
The officer and the driver of the other vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Both were transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
The Bristol Police Department's traffic division is investigating.
