MERIDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Meriden homicide victim identified.
Investigators say Corey Eric Schoonover, 34, of Meriden, was shot in the area of 190 Grove Street early Sunday morning. Witnesses say two cars sped away from the area.
Police say that later in the morning, after sunrise, Schoonover was found on nearby Foster Court.
Detectives say Schoonover was likely targeted.
The homicide remains under investigation.
