(GLASTONBURY,Conn./WTIC Radio) - Glastonbury Police have made an arrest in an armed carjacking on Spring Street Thursday.The victim had been selling the vehicle on the website OfferUp and was contacted by a potential buyer who wanted to take the vehicle for a test drive.During the test drive the suspect, identified as 18 year old Dajour Hines of West Hartford pulled a gun and forced the victim out of the car.
The vehicle was located Friday morning in West Hartford.Dajour has been charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree,Larceny in the 3rd Degree,Larceny in the 6th Degree, Carjacking, Threatening in the 1st Degree and Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree.
Hines is being held in $250,000 bond for a Monday appearance in Manchester Superior Court.
