(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Hartford police have made an arrest in a homicide from last summer.
Under arrest is 26-year-old Rayshod Johnson.
Officers say just before midnight on July 8, they received a shot spotter activation on a victim, Malcolm Carr, found shot near 1994 Main Street.
He later died at St. Francis Hospital.
On Monday, when officers stopped a suspected stolen vehicle on Capen Street, the passenger, Johnson, fled on foot.
He was later captured and police say Johnson was in possession of a loaded .40-caliber handgun with a high capacity magazine at the time of his arrest.
Johnson's bonds total $2 million, police say.
He faces a slew of charges in connection Carr's killing, as well as being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
