BRANFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A body is found burried in a shallow grave outside a restaurant in Branford.
Investigators are working to confirm the identity of the body found outside LoMonaco's Ristorante off Route 1 in Branford.
East Haven Police have been searching for a missing mother since Wednesday, July 1. Police say Lizzbeth Popoca, 27, of East Haven went missing on either the night of June 30th or the early morning hours of July 1. Family reported her missing after Popoca's 7-year-old daughter called her father at work saying her mother was not home when she woke up.
East Haven Police are considering the disappearance as suspicious.
