HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin took another step toward a second term Tuesday night, winning the three-way Democratic primary.
Bronin easily seated former mayor Eddie Perez and State Representative Brandon McGee to move on to the general election in November.
Former mayor Perez says he plans to continue leading Hartford in some way, but it's unclear if he plans to run in November.
In addition to the benefit of incumbency, Bronin had a huge fundraising advantage over his two challengers.
