
SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A woman died early Sunday morning when her vehicle went over a cliff in Plainville.
Emergency responders from both Southington and Plainville went to Ledge Road where a car rolled off a cliff and came to a rest about 200 feet below the roadway. Very steep and challenging terrain sustained the technical rescue operation throughout most of Sunday.
A Southington firefighter suffered a minor shoulder injuiry during the rescue. They were treated at New Britain General Hospital and later released.
It is not clear what caused the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
