STAMFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Stamford Police are investigating a fatal Wednesday night car verses pedestrian accident.
Officials say a 23-year-old Stamford woman, driving a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta, struck a 61-year-old Stratford woman crossing the intersection of Tresser and Washington Boulevards.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
No identity has been released.
