
PUTNAM, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ An investigation conducted by Connecticut State Police found that a woman who lived on Hanley Street in Putnam was allegedly selling crack cocaine out of her home.
Around 7 on Tuesday night, State Police searched 38-year-old Ashley Goulet's home and arrested her when they found 15.3 grams of prepackaged crack cocaine, one inoperable handgun, scales, and packaging equipment.
Goulet had a five-year-old living at the residence. The Department of Children and Family Services arrived at the scene to deal with the child. A seperate case against Goulet has been initiated by D.C.F.
She faces charges of Posession of Narcotics, Operating a Drug Factory, and Risk of Injury to a Minor.
Goulet has been released on a $50,000 bond.
Her scheduled court appearance is Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
