WTIC 1080 News - Fairfield Police Officers conducted a traffic stop just after 10 o'clock Sunday morning on a vehicle that was suspected of committing a hit and run earlier.
During the interview with the driver, Mark T. Fabrizi of Stratford admitted to having several grams of cocaine in his pocket. In addition, a narcotics detection K-9 was deployed and indicated to the presence of a narcotic odor.
Fabrizi, of Stratford was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Failure to Insure a Motor Vehicle.
Fabrizi was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and issued a court date of July 30th for all charges.
