WINDHAM, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - One person is dead following a fire in a cottage at the Willimantic Camp Meeting Association early Wednesday, state police confirmed.
There was no immediate word on the identity of the victim, or what started the fire.
State police are part of the investigation.
The camp meeting association is a development of small homes off of Route 32 in Windham. It is one of the oldest religious camps of its kind on the East Coast, according to its website.
