(NORWALK,Conn./WTIC) - Norwalk firefighters responded to a house fire at 13 Grove Street shortly before 7 o'clock Thursday evening.The fire started in the basement and extended to the first floor.
Firefighters found heavy fire at the front door.There was extensive damage to the first floor and smoke damage to the second and third floors.
All occupants made it out safely.
The blaze displaced 16 people.The Red Cross is providing shelter.
The cause of the fire remains under ivestigation.
