BEACON FALLS, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ An old meat packing plant on Rimmon Hill Road in Beacon Falls went up in flames during early morning hours Thursday.
Beacon Falls fire officials say more than 30 firefighters from neighboring towns, including Bethany and Seymour, responded to the blaze. A neighbor reported it around 2:30 Thursday morning.
Firefighters had to fight the fire through the roof of the unoccupied building.
There are no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
