Former UConn Star Robinson Dead At 32

(Storrs, Conn./WTIC) - Former UConn men's basketball player Stanley Robinson has died.

He was 32.

The announcement was made today on the team's official Twitter page.

In his four years at UConn, Robinson averaged 9.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.

He played in 126 games at UConn, making 103 starts.  

Robinson's 1,231 career points rank 36th in team history.

After graduation, Robinson, whose nickname was "Sticks", was drafted by the NBA's Orlando Magic in 2010, later playing in the NBA's developmental league and overseas.
