HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford police have released the name of a person shot to death in the city Thursday.Just before 2:00 p.m., officers received a report of a person shot on Lenox Street. They found 16-year-old Daviyon Morrell of Newington with a single gunshot wound to the upper chest. Morrell was rushed to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center but was pronounced dead about an hour later.Police officials say detetectives worked into the night to gather evidence and information.Anyone who may have information regarding the shooting of Daviyon Morrell is asked to contact Hartford Police.
