HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -- Hartford Police are investigating a homicide in the city's North End.
Police responded to the Super 8 Motel on 57 West Service Road around 11:18 a.m. They found a victim, later identified as 23-year-old Kashnielle Haye inside his rented room.
Officials say Haye was observed to have trauma to the head and face, and it appeared a struggle took place inside the room.
Based upon evidence recovered from the scene, the incident has been classified as a homicide.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division has taken over the investigation.
