HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police are investigating the disapperance of a missing mother and infant daugther.
Authorities were looking to speak with James Smith, 27, of Hartford, in connection with the disapperance of mother Kiana Quiroz, 18, and their 11 day old daughter Heavenly Smith.
Police said it was possible the three of them are together in either Hartford or Waterbury, but smith turned himself in Wednesday morning to face a pair of outstanding warrants related to domestic violence. He is fully cooperating with investigators, said police.
Kidnapping and foul play are not suspected.
Police said in a tweet, communication with Kiana Quiroz was "active."
