(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Non-essential businesses in Connecticut are being ordered to have employees work from home.
That today from Governor Ned Lamont.
He calls the initiative "Stay Safe, Stay At Home".
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Lamont says only those agencies that provide essential and sometimes life saving services will be allowed to operate.
Those include police and fire, as well as gas stations, grocery stores, and pharmacies.
The directive goes into effect on Monday.
Additionally, state officials say a fourth person in Connecticut has succumbed to the virus.
And 194 have so far tested postive for Covid-19.
