MANSFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A North Franklin resident is fighting for his life after a Friday night crash in Mansfield.
State Police Troop C say Connor James Pearo, 19, was traveling North on Route 32 in a Subaru Legacy when he passed a non-contact vehicle on the wrong side of the road around 10:02 p.m.
Pearo re-entered the North bound lane, drove across the lane, and went up onto an embankment off the right side of the roadway. After rolling several times, Pearo was ejected from the Legacy. He landed in the southbound lane where he was found by emergency responders, suffering life-threatening injuries.
Life Star was called to transport Pearo to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
