(Hamden, Conn./WTIC) - Hamden police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting from one week ago.
Under arrest is 20-year-old Pharoah Jackson of New Haven.
It was December 27 that police say Jackson attempted to rob 35-year-old Corey Gomes of Hamden at gunpoint at a Dixwell Avenue service station.
Investigators say Gomes was shot following a physical altercation with Jackson, who they say fled the scene after firing the fatal shots.
Gomes was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Jackson is being held on $2 million bond, facing charges of murder and robbery.
He's scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Meriden Superior Court.
