(EAST HARTFORD Conn./WTIC) - A man,indentified as John Carras is dead after East Hartford Police responded to a domestic violence incident at a home on Skyline Drive Thursday evening.Two officers and a man got into a physical altercation.
Attempts to stop the Carras with a taser failed and he was fatally shot.Carras was a school psychologist at Berlin High School.
A woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Two police officers were taken to the hospital with non - life threatening injuries.
The Windham County State's Attorneys Office and State Police have taken over the investigation.
