Manchester Police take Rhode Island Fugitive into Custody

MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Manchester Police arrest a Rhode Island fugitive.

57-year-old Dana Hornblower gave Manchester Police a fake name on Thursday during an investigation into reports Hornblower was soliciting money under false pretenses in the northern retail areas of Manchester. After his actual identity was verified, he was issued a Misdemeanor Summons for Interfering with Police. He was released at the scene.

Later that day, Manchester Police received information Hornblower had an extraditable warrant out of Rhode Island on Larceny and Fraud related charges.

Hornblower was arrested around 9 p.m. Thursday night at the Best Value Inn on Tolland Turnpike. He was taken into custody without incident.

Manchester Police charged Hornblower as a Fugitive from Justice. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
