WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - It's not an everyday occurrence in West Hartford. A moose was spotted within three miles of Interstate 84 Wednesday morning.
The animal was spotted in the Peaslee Hill neighborhood, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
The agency warned drivers to be on the lookout for the animal. Though moose are typically docile, DEEP warns they can become aggressive when protecting their young or if they feel threatened.
