(WTIC-AM) -- A man wanted in the killing of four people in Ohio, made an initial court appearance today in New Haven.
That's according to the court clerk's office.
Gurpreet Singh waived his extradition back to Ohio, which could allow him to be sent to authorities there more quickly.
Singh was taken into cstody in a Walmart parking lot in Branford yesterday afternoon.
Police in West Chester, Ohio, Notified officers in Branford that Singh was staying at a home in Branford.
He is being held without bond.
He has an August first court date in New Haven, but it was not clear if he will still be in Connecticut at that point.
