Person Wounded At West Hartford Police Firing Range

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - West Hartford police say a person was shot and wounded at their indoor firing range Monday.The person, who was not a member of the police force, was shot around 4 p.m. at the facility on Brixton St., said police. The victim was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of a non-life threatening injury, said police.Authorities continue to investigate."More details may or may not be available in the future," said police in a press release.
