
GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Glastonbury police have arrested a local man for allegedly scrawling "KKK" on the walls of an elevator at his condominium complex and then reporting it to police.
Police say Alec Kasson, 29, admitted to scrawling the graffiti January 7 in an elevator in the Soap Factory Condos on Williams Street East.
The incident occurred aver several complaints about swastikas being drawn around the complex. Police stress Kasson is not charged with drawing the swastikas.
Kasson is due in Manchester Superior Court January 30 to answer to charges of third-degree criminal mischief, desecration of property, third-degree intimidation due to bias, second-degree breach of peace, and second-degree falsely reporting an incident.
