(Norwich, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Norwich are investigating a weekend shooting in town that left one person injured.
They say around 8:30 on Friday night, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of McClellan Avenue.
Investigators say the victim sustained non life-threatening injuries.
The victim was reported to be in stable condition.
Police say the person was the target of the shooting and not a random act.
