WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - One person is dead after an SUV crashed into the median of Interstate 84 exit ramp in Waterbury Thursday evening.State police say two people were ejected from the Ford Explorer when it crashed on the Exit 18 off ramp from the westbound side of the highway around 7:45 p.m.William Torre-DeJesus, 30, of Waterbury sustained suspected minor injuries and was treated at Waterbury Hospital, said police. He was a passenger in the SUV, which was registered in Ohio.The other individual was pronounced dead at the scene. That person's identity has not been released.The crash remains under investigation.
