Suspect in Middletown Murder Due in Court on Friday

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Middletown Police say the suspect in a June killing will be arraigned on Friday.

William Bigaud Jr., 37, is suspected of stabbing a woman to death on June 8, 2020. Quanisha Burruss, 38, was found deceased inside a Green Street apartment in Middletown.

Bigaud will appear in court on Friday to face charges of murder, risk of injury to a child, and home invasion.

Bigaud was arrested in Georgia two days after the slaying. He was extradited to the Federal Court House in New Haven.

Bigaud remains held on a $1,500,000.00 bond.

Burruss was a mother to Bigaud's young children.
