WILTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A 25-year-old tree company worker from Stamford suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday evening when he was electrocuted on the job, at a home on Ruscoe Road in Wilton, said police.
Police say the boom on the work truck apparently came in to contact with power lines, and the worker, who was on the ground, was shocked when he went to open a door.
The victim, who works for M. Lato Tree Company in Norwalk, was taken to Norwalk Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Police and workplace safety officials are investigating.
