STORRS, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The University of Connecticut has recorded 112 cases of coronavirus, but the school is trying to put that number into context. It follows a report in the New York Times.

Ninety of the cases involve personnel at UConn Health and the rest involve employees who have been working remotely, according to the university.

No students have tested positive, according to the school.

Fall classes start August 31, with courses that will be in-person, online, or a hybrid of the two. Residential students must arrive at campus approximately two weeks early to be tested and quarantined for COVID-19.
