WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -- Police are investigating a homicide that occured Saturday night. Officials were called to the area of Cooke Street and Chase Avenue around 7:16 p.m. on reports of gunshots and a person struck by gunfire.
Police say the suspect was reported to have fled the area in a dark SUV.
An adult male victim was found in a parking lot in the area of 577 Chase Avenue with a gunshot wound to the torso area. He was taken to Waterbury Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
