(Waterbury, Conn.) - Waterbury police are investigating the city's latest homicide.
They say just after midnight, they were called to a first floor apartment at 150 Wall Street on a report of a gunshot.
Upon arrival, paramedics and police found the victim, an adult female, with a gunshot wound to the torso.
She was treated at the scene and rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced dead about an hour later.
Police haven't released the victim's name pending notification of her family.
